ClearScan is a QR code scanner that helps users scan QR codes, view QR results, and, for ClearScan Pro users, access smart link previews and safety checks before opening links.

This Privacy Policy explains what information ClearScan may collect, how it is used, and how users can contact us.

1. Information we collect

ClearScan is designed to collect as little personal information as possible.

Depending on how you use the app, we may process the following information:

QR code and link data

When you scan a QR code, the app may process the content contained in that QR code.

This may include:

• website URLs
• text contained in QR codes
• link metadata such as domain, page title or redirect destination
• safety analysis results for scanned links

For free users, ClearScan shows the raw QR result only.

For ClearScan Pro users, scanned links may be analysed to provide smart previews, safety checks, redirect detection and link explanations.

2. Subscription and payment information

ClearScan Pro is available as an auto-renewable subscription.
